FNUhas made solid progress in the advancementof teachersethics.

Under the guidance of the documents about advancingteachersethics in the new era,released by the CPCCentral Committee, the State Council, the Ministry of Education and Fujian Provincial government, FNUhas strictly set the standardsforteachersethics, strengthened the all-around and whole-process cultivation of all the teachers'ethicsand focused on cultivating teachers with strongpolitical awareness, high professional proficiency and superb teaching skills.

FNU has specified service management, andplayedthe card of systemwell. FNU has established the TeachersEthics AdvancementCommittee, with its leading party and administrative officialsat its core, to fulfill the responsibilities ofthe overall planning, the establishment of systems, supervision and inspection of the teachersmorality development. The system has formed a interconnected pattern, enabling the requirements of teachers’ ethics advancement to be delivered level by level toeveryprimary-levelorganization and every teaching staff in the school.

FNU has deepenedthe guidance of party building, and controlledthe steering wheel properly.The implementation suggestionshave been madeon further strengthening the advancementof the teachersparty branchunderthe new circumstances, such as electingthe most capable teachers as the secretariesand members of the teachersparty branches. The project of EstablishingQuality Party Building Demonstrationshasbeen vigorously implemented, selecting 8 school-level model colleges for party building, 99 model party branches, and 5 studios for party branch secretaries, who are leading in both academic research and teachingto promote the overall developmentof primary-levelparty building.The appraisals ofthe party secretaries of the secondarycollegesin party buildinghave been carried out, specifying their main responsibilityby talkingface to face to guide them to developnoble teachers’ ethics with high-quality party building. The party committee of the College of Marxism has beenawardedas one of the first batch of National Bench-Marking Colleges and Departments for Party Building by the Ministry of Education, and the party branch of the FNU Research Center for Comprehensive Competitiveness of National Economyhas beenhonoredas one of the first batch of National Model Party Branches for Party Building by the Ministry of Education.

FNU has strengthenedtheassessmentinethics of its staff, and utilizedthe magic spellwell. Countermeasures againsttheirmoral misconduct and corresponding administrative punishmentshave been well formulatedto form a closely-knitted network to ensure theirintegrity. Giving priority toteachers' ethics, FNU has strengthenedthe assessment and management, and misconduct in teachers' ethics will be investigated and seriouslydealt with. The Staff Administrative Disciplinary Committeehas been set up to regulate the procedures for filing cases, investigating and punishingthose staff members who violate the administrative rules. The FNU staff have been asked to sign the commitment letters of teachers’ ethics, and the norms of teachers’ ethics have been integrated intosuch work as the award and evaluationsystem, promotion, professional title appraisal, scientific research project application, postgraduate tutor selection, etc.. Besides, the one-vote veto system has been implemented,making the absence of teachers’ ethicsthe sole factor to decide the result. A comprehensive and three-dimensional teachers’ ethics assessment and supervision system has been created. Teachers' codes of conduct are comprehensively evaluated through the school-level and college-level leaders’ listening to lectures, teaching supervision, mutual evaluation between teachers and students' evaluation. The discipline inspection committeeshavebeen established in the secondary colleges, focusing on spotting teachers’ misconductas early as possible.

FNU has leveragedpublicity and education, and playedthe leading role.Teachers’ ethical norms have been formulated to guide teachers to be self-disciplinedrather than regulated by others.Measures to implement teachers’ ethics education have been introduced, and an online platform forteachers’ ethicseducationhasbeen created, forming a practical and distinctive resource database. Forumson teachersethics have been held,by inviting models withteachers’ethicsto share their experiences. Various selection activities, such as “Top 10 Young Teachers”, “My Favorite Teacher, have been regularly launched to create a culture of admiringteachers with ethics, learningfrom themand catching upwith them. A Teachers' Day commendation conference has been held every year to publicize the typical deeds of those outstanding teachers and give full play to their exemplary roles.
