On the morning of September 17, Lai Hairong, vice President of FNU,met with Prof. Takanori Nomurafrom Wakayama University, Japan,and they conducted extensive exchanges on further strengthening friendly cooperation between China and Japan in suchfieldsasculture, education, and scientific research.Leaders from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and Prof. Tan Xiaodi from the College of Photonic and Electronic Engineering,attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Lai Hairong, on behalf of FNU, extended a warmwelcome to Prof. Takanori Nomura, and briefly introduced the recent scientific research of the school. They also exchanged viewson issues such as the cooperation in the frontier science fieldsbetween the two universities, the exchange of teaching and research personnel and students. Prof. Takanori Nomurasincerely thanked FNUfor the hospitalityand signed a school-level cooperation agreement with our school on behalf of Wakayama University.
After the meeting, Prof. Takanori Nomuragave an academic report, titled Phase imaging in-line digital holography with random phase modulation in Fourier domain,to teachers and students of the Collegeof Photonic and ElectronicEngineering.
Prof. Takanori Nomurais a fellowofthe Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) and editor-in-chief of Optical Review, an international peer-reviewed journalpublishedby the Optical Society of Japan.
